The “Scrabble Scholars: Igniting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Reading Passion” project engages young under-resourced learners aged 7-17 in a dynamic fusion of Scrabble and STEM education. Through Scrabble trainings and tournaments, STEM-themed reading circles, and interactive workshops, participants will enhance literacy skills while exploring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts. This project is led by locally trained coaches and supported by community partnerships, the initiative promotes a love of STEM reading, critical thinking, and academic achievement. This innovative program ignites a passion for STEM-related learning through engaging reading methods combined with Scrabble.
